Perceive the World and Create a Brand - ISIB Degree Show 2017-2018

On 22,June, ISIB degree show was launched at Detao Knowledge Capital Salon. All SIVA-DeTao students and teachers on BSM program joined together to celebrate the success of outstanding student’s works.

At beginning of the show, Professor Baeriswyl extended his sincere greeting to the teachers and students, also talked about his expectation for the future development of brand strategy and management.

After the speech of Professor Baeriswyl, year 3 BSM students had presentations for their project - Wall Visualization of Shanghai Hengyuan Youth Apartment. The design for this project consists of six themes, which inspired from two famous writers, Ye Shengtao and Lu Xun. The students also used Ye Shengtao and Lu Xun’s quotes as main body and prototypes for their design.

For year 2 BSM students, they received a brand new project from DeTao- “DeTao Kindergarten”. DeTao Kindergarten is a kindergarten launched by DeTao and Art schools, it aims for providing professional education for children in university. During the presentation, the students revealed the purposes of DeTao Kindergarten through explaining the situations of China educational system and operation of elite educational program. Their unique and special design for the project gain appreciation from teachers and audience.

At the end of the degree show, Year 1 BSM students presented their project findings. As students who have just learned about brand management, they conducted researches and analysis for different national and international companies, and gave some recommendations to national brands based on their findings and works. Each group of students also made video for the presentations.to captivate the audience. The companies for their projects including Ping An and APX, China Resources Vanguard and Carrefour, Geely and Ford, Bright and Nestle, Great Wall Motor and Toyota.

When interviewed with BSM students, they think that they have learned a lot through participating into the projects. Most importantly, they have also acquired teamwork skill, communication skill, leadership skills and time management from their works and coordination with other teammates.
