ISIB had a great cooperation with Shanghai Business School, providing their juniors majoring in Visual Communication Design with international courses.

Ilaria-Niccoli, teacher of Institute of Swiss International Branding (ISIB), emphasized that packaging design is one of the most important parts of branding. She explained package's function and value, brand positioning, quantitative and qualitative research methods, brand story, and direct touch points by using internationally well-known examples of brand packaging.

Professor Florin Baeriswyl visited Visual Communication Design Department of Shanghai Business School on October 18th and gave a vivid introduction and explanation on the theme of "Branding".

Professor used a touching video to demonstrate that the most important element in branding is "Emotion" which can make you cry in 30 seconds. Also he used examples to explain three principles in building a brand: Truth, Quality and Consistency. The classroom was filled with laughter.

"Students should also master solid professional skills, improve all aspects of their own quality and lay a solid foundation for a better future", he said.

In the next courses, Prof. Baeriswyl will invite elites in the industry for teaching together with Ilaria-niccoli, so that students can do packaging design in real business environment by combining with practical projects from which they experience the texture of materials and learn from practice.

In the end, Professor Baeriswyl expressed his best wishes to all the students and took a group picture together to memorize this beautiful moment.
